When it comes to the BIOS I don't know zip. At the moment, I'm trying to access the HPET settings in my BIOS where I can disable or enable it. I've gone into the BIOS but can't find HPET anywhere. Anyone have more knowledge on this? I just spent a good while digging through Google, and found nothing because anything referencing HPET never mentioned where to disable/enable it in the BIOS. Very annoying, to say the least. I'm running Windows 10.

I can access to that settings, but I have UEFI not BIOS. Anyway, have to be easy find it :/. Maybe your hardware can't support it

I was under the impression UEFI and BIOS were basically synonymous? I mean on my computer it's labelled as "UEFI Settings". It is of course possible the my version just doesn't support HPET... though that would be odd, considering I can still disable and enable it in Windows (as opposed to doing so in BIOS) through the command prompt.

UEFI is an improved interface. I can enable HPET in "Power Management", exactly like in this image:
