Otto Carius has passed away this morning.

(27 May 1922 – 24 January 2015)

Otto Carius was a former German tank ace within the German Army who fought during World War II and was credited with destroying more than 150 tanks. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves.

It won't be long until there's no veterans around with us.

I hate to think that I'll live to a time when all the Second World War vets have passed away :( RIP Otto, you are remembered.
