i know the possibility of this happening is very very VEERRYYY low but could this set up be compatible with TW?

I think we saw it in action at Eurogamer and last EGX in London though prob not be exactly this one.

It probably won't be supported, not initially at least. One of our devs does have an Oculus devkit 2 however...
