The big day has arrived! One we have been planning and replanning for months; the launch of our Kickstarter.
We are very excited to finally share with you a bit more of what is in store for the next few weeks and beyond, and we hope you are just as excited to read about it! (If not, I’m sure you will be by the time you’ve read our Kickstarter page!)
Why are we crowdfunding?
This Kickstarter is vital to us; without the funding we will find it very difficult to release on Steam Early Access as we just don’t have the financial backing to produce the game you deserve.
Our Kickstarter campaign is not only about paying for essential background costs such as license fees and dedicated servers leasing but also accelerating development and bringing in the additional skills we need to polish the whole game to our exacting standards.
That’s not all though! As you would expect we have exciting stretch goals!
Head over to our Kickstarter page to check out the details.
What do you get out of backing us?
Aside from the game (naturally) we a have a range of rewards available including some exclusive physical items which we hope you will love.
Your pledges will make a real difference to the development and release of Vanguard over the coming months. If we exceed our initial goal our stretch goals will add exciting new features including new nations, features, an awesome additional map and a larger scale gamemode. Don’t worry though, any stretch goals we achieve will be added to the game after our Steam Early Access launch – they won’t affect our planned release date!
There is a variety of pledge levels with rewards ranging from an exclusive wallpaper to opportunities to be part of the game and influence future content!
For full details see our Kickstarter page.
Does this mean we are close to release?
YES! We are expecting to release the game later this year if successfully funded.
Is there anything else you can do to help?
Definitely! There are two ways you can help, firstly (and obviously) back the game on kickstarter and back early to help us build momentum and get your hands on those limited rewards.
Secondly – we have no budget for marketing, we are spending every penny on making the game, so the more you talk, share, discuss and promote the game and the Kickstarter the better. We would really appreciate you spreading the word to anyone you think might be interested and sharing our social media posts to increase our reach. Every share makes a big difference.
