Pathfinder Games Community Rules
As with any community, rules and guidelines are important to keep the community running smoothly. Please keep in mind our rules whenever posting to keep our community pleasant for members and guests alike.
The Pathfinder Games Community is primarily a support community for a business and its customers, rather than a general chat/discussion community. It is a community built around people getting and giving help and guidance. Your behaviour should reflect that. The rules here are not exhaustive and will be modified over time as necessary. You are expected to use common sense and demonstrate reasonableness at all times.
Access to the community forum is a privilege, not a right, and members who breach these rules may find themselves limited or removed from the community, regardless of the other contributions they have made.
- Be considerate and respectful to others. The community forums is a place for everyone to enjoy. Flaming or insulting other members doesn’t help anyone.
- No adult content. These forums are PG rated and all content should be appropriate for viewing in a business setting or by children. This includes historical photographs if gruesome or graphic.
- No advertising. Advertising for commercial products/companies (without special permission) is considered spam and is not permitted. Any user posting Spam or who is suspected of signing up for the purpose of advertising will be banned without warning.
- No duplicate posting or bumping. Do not double post within a 24 hour period. Please add any additions to your original message to the bottom of your existing message prefixed by “EDIT:” so other users can see what was added later. Please also enter a reason for editing.
- Don’t police. If you spot someone breaking the rules or being aggressive then report the matter to staff. Don’t respond publicly.
- No Extremism. Expressing support for any extremist ideology is not permitted in any form. No symbols, images, slogans, quotes or images of extremist leaders are permitted in any form or location including posts, avatars and signatures. This includes swastikas, images of war criminals, SS unit insignias and usernames which support or imply support for extremism or extremists. Historical photos containing Nazi symbols are permitted only in the context of historical discussion provided they do not in any way glorify the Nazi regime or it’s beliefs.
- Respect Copyright. Be mindful of copyright laws and do not post anything that you do not have permission or right to post.
- No false linking. Deliberate incorrect linking to third party sites is not permitted. All weblinks must be as described and must not inflict any harm onto other users.
- Posting in English. All posts should be made in English without exception as it is not possible for us to moderate the forums otherwise.
