Following some tutorials, i am trying to model an Socom ACP, starting from the slide action.

In Bug1, you can see, at the bottom of the slide action, a little bug, strange things are happening. i don't even know how to say it...

In Bug2, i can't delete the edge; i need to make the rear sight :)
Should i restart from zero?

Another little thing: why sometimes my object become total black? (top-left window)

A lot of tips and tricks are accepted!!!

Im not sure what you mean about bug 1? A bit hard to see due to the resolution :) But, if Im guessing correct, its mixing up hard and soft edges. Select appropriate edges and make them hard to get rid of the little shadow thing

bug 2. Dont think you can remove edge-edges if thats what you mean. Try selecting face, might be hiding squeezed in there. Alternatively, snap the vertice to another one and merge them instead.

It may get black sometimes due to back faces. Try some of the different viewing options like viewport 2, software, hardware blah blah, and also check if u got back face culling on.

hope that helps :)
