i know jumping is removed and honestly i prefer it that way but as a former member of the forces and having close to 60 to 80 pounds i was able to sprint and get one good jump in.

Dont add jumping but say do some sprinting and if your being shot at you can do a sprint jump that massively drains your stamina but clears that gap for cover.

Pressing space bar wont make you jump unless you are doing the sprint jump. to add to this if you are sprinting and you do your srpint jump combine it with your wall climb so it turns into a fast vault but again it drains your stamina massively so its only good once and then you have to rest. by then shots will be wizzing over your head.

I wanna be able to jump over things, like a trench.
Otherwise I would need to fall in it, and than climb up for no good reason.

Sprint and jog jumping mainly to jump (lap) forward is ok, random jumping in air should be, minimal, in my opinion.

if jumping is in it should be extremely taxing concidering all the gear you have. doing two jumps consecutivly like what bunny hoppers would do should make your gear lean foward as if losing balance and prevent you from aiming and jumping again for a few short but decisive seconds

Y'know.... I understand the desire not to prevent unrealistic bunny hopping. Yet, if we want to be realistic I don't really think that removing jumping completely from the game is right. MODERN military combat loads are heavier than sin due in no small part to the weight of body armor(which alone weighs 20lbs). Yet in the corps I watched men sprint, and jump over ditches and things all the time. Lol we even had this pull up bar that was high up and men would prove their manhood by managing to jump up to it and do one mighty pull up.

With entire units moving pretty much entirely around on foot in ww2 I don't see the loads on the infantry being much about 50lbs. Especially since they didn't have the packs designed to carry much more than that without really damaging a soldiers back. To help I started looking for quality believable articles, and they are hard to find. But I did find this one discussing tests on weight.
Combat Load of the Average Infantry Soldier

With >50 lbs of weight we can reasonably expect our soldiers in game to be able to jump over a ditch or something.

Solution for the game Have the Jumping more forwards than up and require the player to be moving forwards to do. It becomes a sort of animation like the vaulting animation. Only instead the player lowers his weapon gripping onto it firmly, takes a couple good steps forward at full speed and then jumps FORWARD to leap over a low obstacle. This leaves the player vulnerable while he is actually jumping and immediately after as he readies his weapon.
