Definitely looking forward to it. Personally Id be happy if the only changes made were for there to be vastly improved graphics - along the lines of what we see in War of the Roses. And maybe the ability to swim, rather than plummeting to the bottom and drowning :p.

Overall Id like the game to feel a bit more grittier and realistic, especially with the gore and brutality of the combat mechanics. The combat in M+B is quite laughable (although very addictive).

Oh sweet jesus.

-Better AI
-Better command system
-Better quests, and more of them
-Upgrade towns into cities (incorporate city-building aspects)
-More in-depth economics
-Musical instruments

The 1st three are deal-breakers for me. And +1 for swimming, but only if you're not wearing an 80 pound suit of armor.
