So my idea was;
Have tanks from different years and quality?


Panzer_IV_70_A_Vista_2.jpgCracked plates on a Jagdpanzer after being hit by a 75 MM shell, result: bad steel quality.

Even the Panther was having the same problems!

Well, it's rather simple. Make a randomization that causes a certain number of spawned German tanks to have lower armour stats than they should be. Not hard at all. Main thing though, is that most of this happened in late 1944 and on, so not really a normandy thing too much.
