I would like to personally see a range of interesting units, that maybe could have special attributes?

I'm not familiar with really any German troops apart from say the S.S.

But for the British/Commonwealth

-Obviously regular Infantry Units
-Para's (Done)
-SAS
-The Black Watch
-Royal Marines
-Royal Engineers (Done)

Just to name a few.

Only effective differences would be divisional insignia, which will be represented. There really wasn't anything in terms of special gear issuance to other units that would be something all that representable ingame, and we will simply avoid any kind of magical buffing just because your divisional insignia is different on this map than in the last map.

We already have Royal Engineers in the form of sappers, and following Crete I don't think the Anzacs ever saw combat in the ETO.

New Zealanders saw combat through the Italian Campaign, and some Royal Australian Air Force and ground observers (they were there to study the amphibious operations, and some even landed on D-day) saw combat in Normandy. The ground observers were, of course, all officers, and most wore the same uniform as the regiment they observed with, rather than their Australian uniform.

Just an example now what I mean, possibly some units having more stamina then others in exchange for say less equipment such as less grenades and ammunition?, and while on the topic of equipment. I would imagine the SAS and maybe Royal Marines would have had access to say the Sten Mk2 silenced, and the Thompson, (Or at this point in the war i'm guessing)

Nein!

I'm pretty sure the Royal Marines were equipped the same as army units; as for the SAS, I don't think they used silenced Stens (that was an SOE thing). Yes they preferred the Thompson, though seeing as the Thompson's already in TW, it'd be nothing new.

Ani, remember that we discuss something similar to this. He is talking about how the equipment weight will affect the stamina

Thing is, it's not historically accurate for say the Black Watch to all be given one less grenade. A realistic stamina system I agree with, of course, but it's historical accuracy that's bothering me here.

Well according to your logic then, in this game if a player has exhausted nearly all his resources he will have increased stamina since he barely has anything to carry
you know? While your idea adds diversity into the game it, at the same time is complicated, second there can be a way where stamina can be exploited for unfair advantages, anyone who plays counter strike will know what im talking about, for those who dont, players switch to their knives to move faster, when in positon, use their regular guns to dish out damage. So yeah, I dont fully agree with this idea, while its good... its not really the right way for tw in my opinion at least...

A stamina system we discussed before; how much stamina you have needs to depend on what equipment you have. Carrying less or light equipment, you increase your stamina and run speed, while carrying more or heavy equipment, you decrease your stamina and run speed. Thus, your stamina wouldn't depend on what weapon you have equipped, as in CS:GO, but rather what weapons you have. For example, let's say you're a German LMG gunner and have your P 38 equipped; your stamina and run speed will be affected by the MG 42 and the P 38, not just the equipped P 38. Anyway, your stamina and run speed shouldn't change that much (as in Insurgency); it's not like you're going to run 5 km/h faster if you have one less grenade.
