So this idea came to my head.

I think you should add this:

3. Bodies don't dissapear, when you kill someone bodies stay where they are.

4. Hardcore mode (No respawns)

Besides beeing cruel and promoting war crimes why should some One surrender when you cant respawn.

Unless trolling the Forums then keep going.

War is cruel and it would add realism to it. Hardcore mode has nothing to do with surrendering.

And I meant as execution because of clan, if they don't behave they get their head shot off

War is cruel, but that doesn't mean we have to represent war crimes. Or do you want civilians to be running around in towns for the Waffen-SS to massacre? This is a teamwork squad-based shooter, not a simulator, and definitely not a war crimes simulator.

i know where hes going with this post about prisoners. I made a post about this very topic not long ago. But basically you get an organised game going and one team decides which player will be the prisoner. He either drops all his weapons or wastes all his ammo and nades and goes to the other team. Team A must get to prisoner and escort him back to the first respawn point. Team B must prevent this.

Another thing he could be mentioning is if a player runs out of ammo he can in game say i surrender i have no ammo left which could be a ruse, hard to really know, but if say you put a button in the game that lets the player surrender basically forcing him to put his hands up and saying out loud i surrender, the enemy cant shoot him. If they do they get hurt but the prisoner doesnt die. They keep doing it and they themselves eventually die.

I dont oppose the idea of surrender as I suggested it myself as Part of a Ticket based gamemode I think in realistic suggestions. But you must ensure the POW can Not be murdered as the moral difficulties coming along with that would be to large in scale to deal with in a not Story driven multiplayer game.

But that would on the other hand mean braking realism and immersion.
Imo it creates more issues than it's going to be usefull, it could also mean when confronted with deffeat you could push a button to dissalow the enemy to kill you.

Thats right it breaks the immersion but as the devs have statet they want a realistic shooter Not a simulator in the end the question is what game modes will be supportet how much courage have the devs to tackle new but complicated game Elements and how can you implement the aspects of war without becoming macabre or hurting too many peoples feelings.

Don't spend time on these useless features. Make it so we can have some combat first. This whole surrendering thing, in a game, its ridiculous if you ask me. If you are part of the 0,00001%* of gamers that want this then accept that you are a minority and won't get it. This takes way to much developer time, is ridiculously cumbersome and will barely even be considered using. The only time this might be an option is when its a 1 on 1 fight and both are without bullets. And then 99.9%* of players would pull out the knife or bayonet.

Civilians in a shooter that is supposed to be fun? Why not let them run in the street, and when you shoot in the general direction of them you get perm banned for committing murder. Would be great fun huh /Sarcasm

Still, bodies can stay in the map, lets say the last 50 players killed? then they fade away.

This game is hardcore mode.... you must mean an arcade mode where it takes 8 pistol shots for a kill, or 3 torso rifles shots, or headshot for 95% damage. you know, like the popular shooters out there.

That is the aim I believe, but how many can actually stay on the map will be all down to optimisation and will probably vary depending on your PC setup.

We also need to look into the balancing impact of allowing some users to turn down/off the number of bodies.

Even with optimised modes specifically for use as persistent bodies the number of polys and drawcalls would quickly mount up in a long game.

It would be nice (and realistic) of course to have completely persistent bodies for everyone - we just don't know just how practical that will prove to be when we start larger scale testing using minimum spec machines.

If we're on the subject, how about we make it an objective to rescue a POW? If the game would surface to become more in-depth objective based, this'll be a nice addition.

I don't suppose putting civies might be good, I mean just look at the lols people that Chivarly get killing peasants !

Sure, but represent that by blowing up a few objectives like main gates/wall, guard tower, prison door while the other team has to prevent this.

Not by escorting players out that had spawned in cells and had to wait 18 minutes till help came, and then had to walk out crawling speed to indicate the lack of food and abundance of torture they got. Ooh, the fun that would be. Instant empty server.

Think you've missinterpreted what I said; I was talking about an AI POW of course :p!
