Steam Launching Movie Rental

Valve has stuck a film deal with Lionsgate to make film rentals available on Steam.

Can't say I have looked at what will be available but I can imagine a cinema mode for Vive would be awesome (for the few people who can afford one).

Funky! Well, that'll be cool I suppose, though I can't say I'm the kind of person that downloads movies online. Steam has a music feature and I've never known anyone to use it, but who knows. I do like Lionsgate!

Yea noticed it yesterday, don't think it will take off though - amazon prime and Netflix really own the market.

I'm not a fan of either music or video player Steam offers.
If it was made better than yeah it would be a cool thing but as of yet it's a bit meh.
