News Update #7
Stielhandgranate
Hello and welcome to another update of Traction Wars. This month we have some renders of the M24 Grenade kindly lent to the mod by Ror-Shak, we take a look at another model licensed to the mod the Mauser 712 machine pistol by Boogie and we present two diorama scenes by the lastest developer to to join the team maniche. Welcome to maniche, we hope you enjoy your time on the team.
The M24 Stielhandgranate was the standard issue grenade from the beginning of First World War I, to well into the Second. It's distinctive shape gave rise to it's nickname "potato masher". Mid-way through the war the M24 was superseded by the M43 Stielhandgranate which continued it's distinctive shape although its mechanics where completely different. It remained widely used until the end of the war. The textured model below was created by Ror-Shak who has been kind enough to lend it to the mod under license. The Mauser 712 machine pistol was produced in the early 1930s and included a fire-select between full-auto and single firemodes. The untextured model shown below has been kindly licensed to the mod by Boogie.
Finally for this months update we want to share with you two screenshots maniche produced for his trial task. Although they won't directly be in the mod we thought we would share them with you anyway.
The team is looking for new developers to join, so if you think you have a skill we could use, please fill out a recruitment form here, we are especially looking for Modellers, Texture Artists, Animators & Mappers but we are recruiting in all areas.
That's all for this update, see you again next time. Until then be sure to check out our community forums and comment on news, post ideas & suggestions, and become part of our rapidly growing community.
