To give a proper answer, we do plan on bringing in more nations and theaters over time. France 1940 would be a very cool, and very unique theater.

... but no promises ;)

It is safe to say that many of the obvious and more obscure suggestions have been mentioned in our own discussions of where we go after OVERLORD both in terms of nations and the time-frame.

I'd love to see an Italian front at some point... maybe some of the matches can be fought with Germans and Italians on one side with Americans on the other? Different from the one versus one in usual matches.

I like the idea of more than One Nation per side and map. So like a 2 Vs 2. Montecasino it + gerrys Vs us + canadians for example

The problem with doing multi-nation maps is finding a specific battle in which that can be confirmed. For instance, if we did Monte Cassino, one day in the dark distant future, we would not just be doing some generic "Monte Cassino" map. We would be doing multiple maps covering various combat operations and battles within the campaign, most of which would indeed be Germans versus various nationalities, but rarely more than one Allied nationality in any given battle. Also, I'd note that the only Italians fighting at Monte Cassino were fighting on the Allied side, in 1st Italian Motorized Group. ;) Did quite well I might add, routing a German Panzergrenadier division at Monte Lungo, and achieving a victory where American forces had actually failed. After that, they were re-formed into a larger combat group and fought on the far right flank of Polish II Corps through the remainder of Monte Cassino, before being withdrawn for re-equipment and reinforcement, returning to the lines in time for the Gothic Line battles and fighting through to war's end.

This may sound Bias, I being a Brit. But in my perspective. In my opinion it should stay as just Britain and Germany. As it leaves the admins to heavily work on primarily on the two. Basically. Quality over quantity. And I also believe because World war two games being made or old but still active aren't as big as they used to. And on top of that its considered tactical and reali. So over all you have a really niche game. A gap in the market you could say. Because its unique. The majority of people who like these type of Genre will love it. And eventualy it will get to the pont were people will just get it anyway because its unique and popular. Theres no need to cater for other people. If it wasn't free to play it could be a different story.

Its like Heroes and Generals. Its way out of my comfort zone. Its: Arcadey slightly pay to win, Not a big selection of nations and weapons, and a few other aspects that i don't like. But I still play its because other people play it. Its new. And its world war two. But as its free who cares. Why should they have to cater to me?. They don't. same with traction wars. People will still play it. So when they play it why don't just give them the best experience possible.

Oh, Africa would be cool. That hasn't been done much in games. Although I like the whole Brits versus Germans thing, once the game has developed in a few years time I'd love to see more factions.

You see factions mean a great deal to me, actually fun fact, I'd join the development team if they were working on factions pre 1941 eg Belgium, Denmark, Yugoslavia, for France even

I definitely get where you're coming from, these countries are rarely or never represented well in WWII games, and I'd love to play on some of the more 'obscure' fronts of the war.

And hey, with a little commitment we could play the entire Danish campaign, in real time, on a single Saturday!

We're getting ahead of ourselves of course, but I'm definitely excited to see what lies down the road.

Or what about the invasion of Luxembourg?

Well yeh I mean who wouldn't' want to literally mow German armoured cars down all morning

Or what about the invasion of Luxembourg?

Actually this would be a very good street battle with mainly mgs and rifles for both sides.
