And consider that a number of "German" troops manning the Atlantic Wall were foreigners forced into the Wehrmacht!

Yeah, that's the Indische Legion, stationed in Bordeaux. Look up Yang Kyoungjong, a Korean who fought in the Kwantung army against the Russians in Manchuria, then in the Red army against the Germans in Ukraine, then in the Wehrmacht against the US in Normandy.
